Removing and installing the preheating time relay - vehicles with diesel engines > < Disconnecting and assembling the main fuse box and the plug fuse holder

Removing and installing the main fuse box directly at the battery
Removing and installing the main fuse box directly at the battery
Removing
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Disconnect earth strap of the battery -4-.
   
–  Fold open the cover -3- and slacken the nut of the positive terminal -2-.
–  Slacken the catches -arrow A- successively using a screwdriver and release the fuse box with the positive terminal -1- from the battery -arrow B-.
–  Remove preheating time relay - vehicles with diesel engines → Chapter.

–  Successively slacken the cover -1- from the catches -2- using a screwdriver -arrow A-.
–  Swivel out the cover -arrow B- and remove.
–  Release the nuts for attaching the connection cables (6 Nm) and remove the fuse box.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
