Removing
  Caution
The bracket for the engine cover on the cylinder head cover can break off when it is incorrectly disassembled.
It is therefore necessary to remove the engine cover according to the following instruction.
–  Pull out oil dipstick.
For engine with engine code BNM, BNV
   
–  Detach the cover on the points marked with -arrows-.
For engine with engine identification characters BMS
A two-piece cover is used on this engine.

–  Detach the cover on the points marked with shaded rings.
Install
  Caution
Before installing the engine cover, check the correct fitting position of the fixing elements. If necessary, move them back into the correct position. Otherwise this can lead to damage to the engine cover.
–  Insert the cover and press down until it locks audibly.
–  Insert the oil dipstick again.
