  Note
   
t  The fuel tank consists of a left and right chamber. In order to pump the fuel out of the left chamber -3- of the fuel tank into the right chamber to the housing of the delivery unit -2-, a suction jet pump -1- is required.
t  The version of the fuel tank requires that the fuel is pumped from the area of the fuel gauge sender 2 -G169- with a suction jet pump to the fuel delivery unit.
t  A check is only to be carried out, if the engine stops because of fuel shortage, although the fuel gauge still indicates a fuel tank which is 1/4 full.
Work procedure
–  Remove fuel delivery unit Superb II → Chapter, Octavia II → Chapter.
–  Remove fuel gauge sender 2 -G169- → Chapter.
–  Now the suction jet pump can be pulled out from the side of the fuel gauge sender 2 -G169- (left vehicle side).
–  Check, if the fuel lines on the suction jet pump are placed on firmly and not damaged.
–  Check the suction jet pump additionally for possible contamination.
